eCard of the Week #133: A Strong Person
A strong person is not the one who doesn't cry.
A strong person is one who is quiet and sheds
tears for a moment, and then picks up her
sword and fights again.

Shelby's Ear Surgery
Yesterday, March 25, 2016, Shelby had to go to the vet to have the tumor on her ear removed. Shelby was not happy about getting up super early in the morning. She also she was even more unhappy that she could not have anything to eat....not even bacon treats!
This first photo I took of Shelby staring at her bacon treats....she was also whining. But I did not give in and she did not get any treats.
We picked up Shelby around 4:00PM the same day. This next photo is one I took of her as we were leaving the vet. Shelby's ear looks so much better! The vet gave Shelby a new bandanna...tiger print!

eCard of the Week #132: Loving Memories
Loving memories of a Special Son.
To lose someone so special is really hard to bear
it hardly seems believable that you're no longer there.
You left us far too early before your time, it seems
and now you'll never have the chance to fulfill all those dreams.
However hard it is though, we'll take comfort in the thought
of all the memories we have and the happiness you brought.
You always lived life to the full but ours won't be the same
until the day we see you smiling face again.
