Thursday Threesome: State Fair and Rodeo

Onesome- State: What state (or territory) do you live in? Have you lived in any other(s)? Where would you like to live? And as a bonus: Any idea what year your state became a state?

Shannon's Answer: I live in Missouri, USA. I have not lived in any other state BUT I would love to move to Texas. Missouri became a state in 1821.

Twosome- Fair: Or amusement parks: Did you enjoy them as a kid? What was your favorite ride? How do you feel about them now? Ready to go wander around one again, sampling funnel cakes and corn dogs and riding rides until you're sick? ...or would you rather just enjoy the entertainment or stay home and avoid the crowds?

Shannon's Answer: I enjoyed amusement parks and fair as a kid and I still enjoy them. It seems I never really have time to go to the local fairs or places like Six Flags, Silver Dollar City, etc. I love the roller coasters and water rides! I also like the Tilt-A-Whirl and the ride that you stand up on. The food at fairs and amusement parks are bad enough to kill you but that doesn't stop me from eating funnel cakes, caramel apples and cotton candy and drinking fresh lemonade.

Threesome- And Rodeo: Have you ever been to or watched a rodeo on TV? Did you enjoy it or consider it a barbaric spectacle? If you liked it, what was your favorite event? Ever tempted to race barrels or ride a bull yourself?

Shannon's Answer: I have been to a few rodeos and I use to watch them on TV. I enjoyed watching them to a point but after awhile it gets boring. I think my favorite event is barrel racing! Yes, I have tried to ride a bull...a mechanical one :)
