3x Thursday: Are You Afraid?

1. Are you afraid of the 'elements' (floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.)that affect the region of the country that you live in? Why/why not? Are you prepared at all if something happens?
I live in Missouri, USA and in the area that I live I am mostly worried about flooding and tornadoes. I am not totally prepared if a disaster hits. I need to purchase and store things like bottled water and non-perishable food.

2. What about the price of everything costing more these days? Does it scare you? Why/why not? Are you doing anything to cover yourself? I am not scared of the cost of things I am more worried that I will not be able to provide things for my family (good food to eat, a roof over their heads, etc). I have to stick to a very tight budget that leaves no room for fun :(

3. Are you afraid to die? Why/why not? I am afraid to die for several reasons. One reason is that I don't want my children and my brother to be alone. Who will take care of them if I am not around? Another reason is that I have two dogs and I don't want to leave them all alone. They are good dogs and I feel that I treat them very well. Lastly, I am afraid to die because I am scared of how I will die. I don't want it to be a horrible death. I prefer to die of old age (90 or so), peacefully in my sleep.
