Saturday 6: Commitment

Saturday 6: Commitment
Hosted by Patrick's Place

1. You decide to start a new exercise program. Without having a workout partner to help you, how likely are you to follow the plan religiously? With or without a workout partner I will not follow the workout pla religiously and eventually I would just give it up.

2. Who was usually the first one to say, “I love you” in your past relationships: you or your partner? It is usually me that says "I love you" to my partner first. Sometimes it is a good thing to say it first but I have learned that it usually causes me pain.

3. If you decided you wanted to date someone, what would the primary test you’d give to see whether your “intended” had commitment issues? The test would be if they are able to handle a "packeage deal - two kids, two dogs and my brother and his family".

4. Take the quiz: Are you afraid of commitment?

You Are A Little Scared of Commitment

You're open to getting serious with someone... though you can't entirely imagine it.

Maybe you haven't met the right person. Maybe you haven't gotten to the right point in your life.

Your reaction to commitment is very normal - especially if you're young or have been burned before.

Give it time. You'll probably be ready for a serious relationship sooner than you think.

5. Do you find yourself faster or slower to commit to a presidential candidate now versus previous elections? I am slow to commit to any presidential candidate in any election. I will wait until the day of voting to make my final decision.

6. You see something in a store that you really, really want. Once you decide that you’re actually going to buy it, how easy would it be to talk yourself out of your commitment to buy it? It is very hard for me to talk myself into buying something. If I don't make the purchase on the spur of the moment then I will never make that purchase.
