Great List!
ReplyDeleteThe Captain and Tenille really are the sound of the 70s to me. I'm glad they topped the charts in 1980.
ReplyDeleteGreat list!~Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteI remember when every single one of those was popular! Great TT!
ReplyDeleteWith the exception of 2, 10, and 11, I have every one of these songs in my collection. I'll probably wind up buying 2 and 11 one of these days.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I have the albums or 45's to all of these! Happy TT.

Oh, that may date me, I knew almost all the songs by title, and I know very, very little about music. My kids even say I hate music. LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you all for visiting :)
ReplyDeleteI was 10 years old in 1980 and I remember all the songs listed...I still listen to them!
Oh, this brings back memories! I was at the dewey, romantic beginning of what turned out to be a long and really twisted relationship. But when these songs were popular, everything was still sweet and good. Sigh. (Thanks for visiting my TT)
ReplyDeleteGreat list of 70's songs. I like McCartney's best.
ReplyDeleteMy TT is up at 13 Myths about Barack Obama
Yep - I can *still* play each of them in my head! Can't remember where I put my car keys, though ;D
ReplyDeleteMy TT this week is on the top movies of the 80's. Stop by and check it out.
Huh, I don't have any of these on my MP3, but I remember them. Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteI remember all of these.

Good Afternoon Shannon!!! What a great list for thirteen. I love the idea. Numbers 9 and 10 I can remember well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit and cool comment!!!
I didn't remember It's Only Rock and Roll To Me being that old.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm about to admit this, but the very first concert I ever went to was Captain and Tenille (slinks away in shame).
Timeless music. :) Awesome list!
ReplyDeleteGreat List. I was a young mom in those days and listened to ALOT of music...
