I've never heard of potato candy. Sounds really strange. Can you give me a hint of what it's like?
ReplyDeleteClara I will post the recipe :) *the easy version*
ReplyDeleteAwww, that is so mean, #11! I would be so sad and then angry!
ReplyDeleteSince I married hubby, we open one Christmas present on Christmas eve, right before bed! I never did this growing up, I think it is fun. So you open all of them Christmas Eve?
The potato candy sounds interesting and I just might try it one of these days! Thanks for putting up the recipe!
ReplyDeleteBut about Christmas lights on the tree -- I thought everyone put lights on their tree!!!!! Unless, of course, they don't have electricity! When I lived in Alaska, many people lived quite primitively (no electricity) so I could understand no lights on the tree... but I would never think not to!!! Seems like a given!
Potato candy sounds interesting! I loved Divinity as a kid, but it's just tooooooo sweet for me now.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby used to be like your ex - he was broke whenever it came time to give me a gift. I don't know what happened but I think an alien took control of him a few years ago but he showers me now. So why do I find that just as uncomfortable? Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteZoooma...you are welcome. I love lights on the tree.
ReplyDeleteNurse...Divinity is very sweet. I usually eat one piece and give the rest away.
Jadedhalls...I would be uncomfortable to, I would think he was doing something bad and was trying to make up for it.
Social...I was more sad than angry after awhile. He was such a jerk.
ReplyDeleteYes, we open all of them on Christmas Eve :)
I love your food choices. Pass the stuffing, please!
ReplyDeleteMy best friend's mom used to make potato candy for us. I hadn't thought of that in years! Man that stuff was good.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Bud...a man that likes stuffing!
ReplyDeleteDeana...it is yummy!
I never saw a Mrs. Beasley doll. What did she look like? She sounds "bookish"....great answers!
ReplyDeleteMimi...I posted a few pics of Mrs. Beasley.
ReplyDeleteI love the Little Drummer Boy. That was my Mom's favorite song. I cry every time I hear it.
ReplyDeleteHmmm? Potato candy...I'm going to look over that recipe. Sounds interesting.
