Today's Blogging A to Z Challenge, with my theme of "A Few of My Favorite Things", is all about the letter "D".
I play World of Warcraft online (and I have been playing for nearly 10 years!!). My main character (toon) is a Tauren Druid.
World of Warcraft (often abbreviated as WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the fourth released game set in the fantasy Warcraft universe, which was first introduced by Warcraft: Orcs &; Humans in 1994. World of Warcraft takes place within the Warcraft world of Azeroth, approximately four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard's previous Warcraft release, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001.The game was released on November 23, 2004, on the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise.
Here are a few screenshots of my druid...

Those are probably the first pics I ever saw of WoW. I haven't played a game since...1991 or somewhere around there? I know I would love them, just can't bring myself to spend the money on that stuff.
ReplyDeleteI truly didn't know that Wow had been around over 10 years!

Very cool. I haven't played WoW, but I can see the appeal.
ReplyDeleteSee you around during the Challenge!
this is my favorite post so far!
ReplyDeletei used to play WOW too and my character was a night elf druid
i got a bit miffed when i got up to level sixty (finally!) and found out i pretty much had to be a healer
i liked tanking sometimes too!
man, nostalgic memories... i played WOW for maybe 4 months only
i ended up selling my character on ebay for 300 bucks
i really didn't want to but the game was sucking up way too much of my time!
i wasn't able to play a little now and then... i would play straight for hours
every time i read a review or something about WOW i still miss it :(
