1. This weather is really.....annoying!  Now that it is Spring, the snow needs to go away!

4. I think I have finally realized...that some people are not as great as I once thought they were.

5. Since the last time we linked up...it has snowed twice.  I hate shoveling snow.

7. I really thought by now...my life would be in a better place.

8. If I thought no one would read it, I would write about...my life.

9. I knew I was in the wrong place...as I was driving down a dead end street.

10. I am so not above...anyone.  Everyone should be treated as equals.

I made the following two "Happy Birthday" tags, years ago. I cannot remember 

the exact year. I made them both  from tutorials I found online.  Hopefully, I can 

find the links to the tutorials again because I would like to make a few more tags.

Wednesday Hodgepodge: Hope

1. This coming weekend is Palm Sunday, which marks the beginning of Holy Week. Do you celebrate Easter in your home? What was your favorite Easter tradition as a child?

Now that my children are grown, I don't really celebrate Easter.  One of my favorite things to do was dyeing eggs with the kids...something I have not done in years.  

2. George Weinberg is quoted as saying, "Hope never abandons you, you abandon it." Agree or disagree? Share you own thoughts on the word hope.

There is always hope. Hope is what keeps me going every day.  I don't think people abandon hope, I just think they expect immediate answers.  Hope is not always easy path to follow...sometimes hope means hard work.

3. Weigh in with a yay or nay on the traditional Easter candies. Peeps? Jellybeans? Cadbury Creme Eggs, Solid milk chocolate bunny? Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs? Coconut Cream Eggs? Of the candies listed, which one would you most like to find in your Easter basket?

In my Easter basket I would like to find a solid milk chocolate bunny!  And the bigger , the better.

4. When did you last feel like 'a kid in a candy store'?

Today at work when I accomplished something in half the time it normally takes me!

5. What's something you know you do differently than most people? Does that bother you? Does it bother other people?

I am not a very good housekeeper and yes, it bothers me.  I am sure it bothers other people also.

6. Palm Springs CA, Palm Beach FL, or the PALMetto State...of the three spots mentioned, which one would you most like to visit right now? Which have you visited at one time or another?

I would like to visit Palm Springs, CA, because I have not been there yet.  I have been to Palm Beach, FL once, years ago.  And I have been to Palmetto State *South Carolina* at least twice but that was also years ago.

7. If you could change the length of a day would you lengthen it or shorten it? Tell us why?

I would like to shorten the work day, so that I can spend more time at home.

8. Random Thought:  Life was so much easier and simple as a child.  Life as an adult is overwhelming at times.  But for every time I am knocked down, I get back up and say "was that your best shot", and I move on.

Sunday Stealing: The I Meme

This week's Sunday Stealing comes from the Sunday Stealing archives!

I am...a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, wife and dog lover.

I want...to be happy as much as possible.

I have...panic attacks when I think about death.

I wish...there was way less violence an abuse in the world.  

I hate...cancer.  I have lost many family members and friends (human and furbaby friends) to cancer.

I fear...death and being alone.

I hear...my dog snoring as she is relaxing in her recliner. 

I search...for my Jeep nearly everything I leave the store.  

I wonder...if this world will ever be full of peace.

I regret...nothing.

I love...my children, my dog, my family and friends.

I never...went para sailing, but it is on my bucket list to do before I die.

I ache...daily, especially my left foot and left leg.

I always...wake up at least five times each night.  I would love to be able to get a full nights sleep.

I usually...have an apple for breakfast.  Mom always said, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away."

I am not...going to Missouri anytime soon.  I miss home sometime.

I dance...in the dark so that no one can see me.

I sing...in my Jeep on the way to and from work.

I sometimes...take the long way home just to enjoy the scenery.

I cry...at least once a day.

I am not always...clean the house.  I hate housework!

I lose...track of time when I am in the middle of reading a good book.

I am confused...on how people can cheat on someone they love.  I don't find it hard to be faithful...why is is to hard for others?

I need...to take out the trash.

I should...be cleaning the house right now.

She is the sunshine in my rainy day.  The motivation behind waking up each morning.

Sunday Stealing: 17 Meme

Are you a jealous person?  I can be at times.  But then I feel guilty for what I think is me being selfish.

When is the next time you’re traveling out of state? In July of this year.

Can you write your name in a foreign language? No

When you’re getting ready for something, do you listen to music? Sometimes, it depends on what I am getting ready for.

What is your favorite day of the week? Friday.

What is something you did yesterday and wish you could’ve done today? I went grocery shopping yesterday and should have waited until today.

If you woke up tomorrow and knew/spoke a different language, which language would you want it to be? Spanish

What did you last order online? K-Cups from Keurig.

Do you have any specific hobbies? No.

What’s a song you recently discovered that you want to tell everyone about? The Narwhals song...it really gets stuck in your head. (You will be singing this for days!)

Favorite fall or winter accessory? A big, comfy sweatshirt.

What did you last eat? Last night I had Ben & Jerry's Smores Ice Cream as a snack.  I have not eaten today...yet.

Look to your left. What’s there? My dog, Shelby.

How long does it take you to fall asleep? At least 30 minutes or more...sometimes hours.

Is there a TV in the room you are in? Yes and Star Trek 6: Undiscovered Country is on.

What comes to your mind when I say red? Strawberries...fresh and dipped in chocolate.

Name something you think is pointless? Most television commercials are pointless, which is why I like to be in control of the TV remote.  I flip channels every time a commercial comes on.
