Bedroom: what’s your sleep schedule? If I have to work the next day, I try to get into bed by 10:00PM.  Otherwise, I go to bed when I am tired.

Kitchen: favorite comfort food? Ice Cream

Washroom: showers or baths? Shower. 

bubbles? bath bombs? No bubbles and no bath bombs.

Closet: sum up your style in a few words.  Comfortable.

Parlor: favorite party or board game? Yahtzee

Living room: what do you like to do with your family? Watch movies.

Dining room: favorite special occasion food? Steak, Baked Potato, Corn on the Cob and cake for dessert.

Garden: favorite tree? Weeping Willows

flower? Lilacs 

Attic: what’s one thing you have a sentimental attachment to and you will never throw away? My Mom's jewelry box.

Library: favorite book genre? Fiction.

Office: if you could have any job in the world, what would it be? A spoiled, never need to work, millionaire!

Guest room: have you been to a sleepover?  Yes. 

if so, when was your first? My very first sleep over was when I was very young.  I went to my Grandparents house (they lived next door).

do you like them? I love them!

Foyer: do you like small gatherings, large parties, or one-on-one meetings? Very small gatherings.

Pantry: favorite meal to make? Steak, Baked Potato, Corn on the Cob and cake for dessert.

Laundry: favorite and least favorite chore?  I do not have any favorite chores.  I hate housework!

Garage: favorite mode of transportation? Automobile. 

favorite car?  Other than my Jeep I love Mustangs.

Panic room: what was the most nerve-wracking experience you’ve had?  Too many to name :(

Powder room: do you wear makeup? Yes, but not very much.  Just enough to cover the zits and holes in my face.

if so, what one item can’t you live without? Concealer

Potty Time Decision

Earlier this evening, it was raining rather hard outside and Shelby had to go potty.  So, I opened the door to show her the rain.  She stood there for a bit deciding on whether or not she wanted to go out in the rain.  She chose to wait until after the rain was gone.

She would not tell me and took the book away.   Well, I found the book and read it all.  I also looked up "teat" in the dictionary! :)

Fallen Limb

I saw this yesterday on a friend's Facebook page and just had to repost it here.  
This hits me pretty hard.  I miss my son more than words can ever express.

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me”.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
