Sunday Stealing: Thought Provoking Questions

 https://sundaystealing.blogspot.com/
This week's Sunday Stealing questions were suggested by Markandangel.

If you could instill one piece of advice in a newborn baby’s mind, what advice would you give? Be yourself and don't let anyone hold you back.

What is the most desirable trait another person can possess? Kindness

What are you most grateful for? My children, my dogs, my family and more.

Is stealing to feed a starving child wrong? Stealing is wrong. There are many ways to get help to feed a starving child.

What do you want most? Peace of mind

Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? Doing things right

What has life taught you recently?  Life has taught me (once again) that everyone does not have the same work ethics.

What is the one thing you would most like to change about the world? I wish all the abuse in the world would go away.

Where do you find inspiration? I find inspiration in the hope that one day I will wake up and it will all be different.  I am 48 and still have that hope.

Can you describe your life in a six word sentence? I am still standing, but barely.

If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? Mistakes can lead to pain in some form or another.  Some people do not want to deal with the pain it may cause them or deal with the pain the mistake causes others.

What impact do you want to leave on the world? I am not sure.

What is the most defining moment of your life thus far? The death of my son.

In the haste of your daily life, what are you not seeing? I am not seeing my family.

If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? We get tunnel vision and can't see what is around or at the end of that tunnel.

What lifts your spirits when life gets you down? Seeing how happy my dog is when I get home.

Have you ever regretted something you did not say or do? Yes, many times.

Has your greatest fear ever come true?  Yes.

Why do we think of others the most when they’re gone? We think about others the most when they are gone because sometimes that is the only thing we have left.

What is your most beloved childhood memory? Sitting on my grandparent's porch listening to all the adults talking about the good old days.

  1. I never thought about the times spent with my grandparents - I have some good memories of them too - particulary my Mum's parents. Good questions this week.

  3. I spent loads of time with my grandparents on my mother's side - most weekends, actually. Lots of happy memories from there.

  4. Hi, Shannon! I enjoyed your answers today and you gave some great advice and insights. People surely don't all have the same work ethic, do they? We dealt with being shorthanded all weekend because the young nurses aides they just hired seem to think assigned shifts are optional. We were understaffed all over the place.
