We were traveling back to Missouri from Texas and our truck broke down in Oklahoma. We were able to limp it along (such a slow process) to a truck stop in Missouri. A friend had to drive halfway across Missouri to come pick us up.

A nice hotel with handicap access, and with restaurants near by.

I have traveled alone by myself. In some ways I liked it because I could stop when I want, eat what I want, etc. However, I had no one to talk to and no one to share the driving with and that sucked.
