Sunday Stealing for 15 September 2024

Welcome to this week's Sunday Stealing!
1. What takes up too much of your time?

Work takes up most of my time. 

2. What do you wish you knew more about?

I wish I knew more about home improvement. I have a lot of things around my house that need to be fixed and since I am not sure how to fix them, I will need to hire someone.

3. What’s the best way to start the day?

The best way to start the day is by opening my eyes and hugging my dog. Then coffee!
4. What mystery do you wish you knew the answer to?

I would love to know why we have to die. With all the technology and medical advances in the world we should be able to live much longer.  

5. What’s your favorite genre of book or movie?

Movies - Comedy; Book - Thriller

6. What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?

1500 Miles  

7. Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?

The Great Smoky Mountains - I love the fresh air, wildlife, and the ambiance of the area. 
8. When was the last time you climbed a tree for fun?

I cannot remember the last time I climbed a tree. I don't think I have ever climbed a tree as an adult.  

9. What do you consider to be your best find?

My current job.  I have been there 15 1/2 years and even though I get very stressed at times. I still love the place!  

10. What’s special about the place where you grew up?
 
In the area I grew up in there were several state parks that were fun to visit.  Those state parks include Sam A Baker State Park, Johnson's Shut-ins State Park, Taum Sauk Mountain State Park, and the Elephant Rocks State Park.
11. What age do you wish you could permanently be?

Immortal  

12. What fictional place would you most like to go?

I would love to visit Scarlett O'Hara's plantation (Tara)  

13. Where is the most relaxing place you’ve ever been?

My own home.  I am only the most relaxed when I am at home with my dog.  

14. What’s the most interesting piece of art you’ve seen?

I cannot remember the name of the painting but it was at the St. Louis Art Museum.  

15. Who has impressed you the most with what they have accomplished?

My nephews, Brandon and Joey and my niece, Amy.

  1. I find youtube videos great for repairs. I have fixed my own car using that and one saved lots of money by figuring out the problem was simply a blown fuse I could buy at the auto parts store and install myself. But some things are out of reach, for sure.
